Lillian's Smith's Horse, Rabbit - The Companion

Rabbit wasn't just some horse -- he was part of the act, part of the road, and part of Lillian Smith's story.

Traveling with her through the circuit of the American West and the spectacle of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, Rabbit was a true companion. While the crowds came to see the spectacle of Lillian and her amazing sharpshooting abilities, it was horses like Rabbit that made the life possible.

5" x 5" inch hand pulled Lino cut: printed in-house on a 100 year old etching press on  Arches fine-art paper with natural deckled edge - Open Edition.
